LED Crossing Guard Signs purchased thanks to Community Foundation

From the Shepherd Police Department:

“You may have seen our new LED crossing guard sign at Wright and Fourth this morning. Thanks to a grant from the Community Foundation we were able to purchase one for each guard. You’ll see all 3 in action when we get back from Spring Break.”


Easter Egg Scramble to be held March 31

The Shepherd Chamber Easter Egg Scramble will be held on Saturday, March 31 starting at 11 a.m. Kids 2-10 are welcome to participate, and should bring their own basket. The egg scramble will take place inside the Shepherd Elementary playground. Parking will be next to the Middle School and in the bus loop.


Presentation on Seed Saving & Sharing to be held April 4

From the Shepherd Community Friends of the Library:

“Join us for this presentation on Seed Saving & Sharing and the Benefits of Sustainable Farming. Learn some earth-friendly tips on growing your flowers, tending your garden, and maintaining your farm. Gain some knowledge; share some knowledge. The event will take place on April 4 at 7 p.m. inside the Coe Township Hall in Shepherd.”
